I'll keep it short;

We have friends arriving an hour or two before us. None of us have ever been before, but we'd like to camp as close as possible to each other to make socialising easy.

They don't know where they're going to camp - we're going to phone them on our journey down to ask them - and when we find out we're going to need to try our best to park in the appropriate car park (west/east) to make the walk as short as possible - I've just come off crutches following a knee operation so I'd like to keep walking/carrying my gear to a minimum.

So, basically, does anyone have the post codes for the west and east car parks that I can put into my satnav once I know where they're staying so I can try my best to get in the appropriate one.

Cheers. :lol:

Don't think the cows get much mail so there won't be a specific postcode! You could get the precise navigation points from google maps I guess.

Good point - well is there anything I can put into the satnav which will guide me to the desired side of the site?

The east west carparks depend on where you want to camp.  The west is near other stage, park and dance.  If neather of your groups mind it may be an idea to meet up before arriving on site.  Or just make sure you are going to the same car park as east and west are a long long walk between each of other.

Well it looks like google maps don't show the exact grid ref. but google earth does if you are able to key in grid references, to be honest I don't think using a satnav is going to be much help though i'm no expert and others may think otherwise.
