As subject. Coming from Kent, so taking M25, M3, A303 and A37 which ends up being the blue route, but we want to camp up around by the dance village so suits us a lot better to get onto Orange route and end up in west carparks. Any tips on how to do that? Can we just drive past where they start stewarding us onto the blue route and drive round the site??? Been google maps'ing it and not getting much clearer...
Other than that, in 12 hours I'LL BE AT GLASTONBURY! :-D

I camped in the Dance Field in 07 and parked in East car park. It really wasn't that hard to get there from the east. Just had to find the railway line and walk all the way to the end of it and do a right!

If you come up the A37 liklihood is you will end up in East Car Parks.
Did see someone post a route here a couple of years ago from A303 - so I think it's possible. Avoid A37 and come up into Street (B3151 I think)
Good luck

We did it last year too. Bit of a pain in the arse with a good mile between us and the car and knowing full well our mates who had managed to get in the west parking were a five minute stroll from their car... If we can avoid it, we will.

Keep going along the A303 until you reach here:-

Head up to Street, Glastonbury and that brings you into the West side
It's the way I go coming up from Devon

Cheers!

Going to try and head over to the west side, I'm meeting friends in Row Mead so reckon it might be easier that way.

These ones

that said though, http://www.bbc.co.uk.../somerset.shtml that doesn't show any roadworks on the 303. Perhaps they've cottoned on & finished them? That would be handy.
