not good to hear !! that sucks !!! one of my good mates had asome bad news also his uncle passed away yesterday !! so its a case of when the funeral is etc as to weather he still goes !!

Like for me, i go to my dads on christmas day. And have a second christmas lunch etc. Which is always good.

Its a horrible thing to happen, just fight through it for the next week and ignore it...thinking about it wont make it better for now. After that know that in a few months you'll have gotten used to it and it feel like the most normal thing ever. Neither of your parents seem like they are about to abandon you so you'll be alright.

The worst thing is having to deal with your parents. At the age of 16 i had to grow up very quickly as suddenly i was the most mature person in the family.
