There has been a thread running on here for the past few weeks asking people to name the 5 acts they are most looking forward to. The thread was opened by Messy. It had six pages of replies so as a bit of fun and to take my mind off the time-dragging last few days I thought I would go through the thread and using a crude scoring system of 1 point for an act each time they were named I have compiled the following list
So here is the top 20
1st Blur 31
1st Kasabian 31
1st Prodigy 31
1st Specials 31
5th Bruce Springsteen 27
6th Madness 20
6th Yeah Yeah Yeahs 20
8th Neil Young 19
9th Fleet Foxes 18
10th Spinal Tap 14
11th 2manydjs 12
12th Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds 11
12th Rolf Harris 11
14th Dizzee Rascal 10
15th Tom Jones 9
16th Doves 8
16th Easy Star All Stars 8
16th Florence & The Machine 8
19th Regina Specktor 7
20th Gaslight Anthem 6
20th White Lies 6
