Anyone else really looking forward to Roots Manuva?
I've been practising singing along to Witness (1 hope) all day!
Highlight of the lineup for me.

Rooty Toot Manuva!
I missed him in 2005, will definitely have to make some room to check him out this year

I might go and see him, but he's one of those people who I think I'll be able to see somewhere else.

Aye I've got all his albums and most of his colaborations, and I don't think there is a bad track amongst them!
Roots Manuva and Prodigy, it doesn't get much better than that, does it? Especially at the end of the festival, don't really want to be slashing my wrists along to Blur (though would have probably go to see them if they had been on the Friday or something).

Fingers Crossed! Not my favourite track, but live it's where the audience tend to go mental!

Aye there were a few sound problems, and he didn't seem quite as on form as when I saw him at Kentish Town Forum a couple of months later. Definately worth seeing though, also had my first taste of Brothers then, and saw Alabama 3 for the first time as I wanted to get there early to get a good spot down the front! Happy days!
Do you think drowning 10 pints of bitter at the real ale meet is taking the roots obsession too far?
I'm off for my cheese on toast now
Ha ha!

Most defo there. One of the 100% on my Glasto roadmap! Don't really know much about him, but from what I've heard it's gonna be a good one! I'm just going to let him surprise me.

I really want to see him, but Nick Cave comes first. I might catch what I can before wandering off to get to the Pyramid in time.

He's following Khaled, I just realised. That means I'll be there anyway. :-)

Oh yeah!
He was brilliant in 05, although I missed Justin Sullivan to see him (still get a bit sad about that)
He came on stage in a pink boiler suit with wellies and a straw hat if I remember correctly. I had just downed 10 pints of bitter at break neck speed though, so I could be wrong!
