You know those moments at Glastonbury... those moments when you say to your mates (or randoms you've picked up along the way), "I could stay here all year 'round..." ?

This is often accompanied by anti-establishment feelings.
Perhaps you have thought about getting back to civilisation, and telling your boss what you think of him/her.. giving up the rat race.. and doing something more appropriate to your current state of mind.

Then, of course, you get home and look at your bills and nice toys, and the idea doesn't seem that appealing appealing after all.  "Maybe in a couple of years..." you think to yoruself.. "when I've sorted everything out..."

So, in those moments of one-ness with the festival... which of these career options have seemed like a sane and reasonable option at the time...?

:(

I used to have career aspirations and I like to think of myself as intelligent. So I said f**k you to the man, and I spend my summer working at festivals. During the winter i do what I must, but hits May and I am off. Originally it was just a way to give something back to a festival, but know things are working well, with paid work, and I have a small catering contract (80 people) for a couple of festivals. Through that work I can subsidise working for free at a couple of festivals as well. I started as a steward, and this year at one I will be a duty manager, having worked my way up the food chain :)

I am happy with my lot :D

But this is the one you meant;

I just spent ages looking for the "I want to be a tree" advert, but can't find the damn thing... grrr...  :(

Cheers Storm, must have left a space in the code or something.
The "I want to be a tree" ad doesn't appear to be on the internet :(

My first choice option's not on your list (No DJ?), so I decided to be a Traveller

Well, you could be a Traveller/Juggler combination.... but then the whole thing starts to sound horrible like a Role-Playing Game, so let's keep it simple... :(

With the YouTube tags, you just put the code in, not the whole URL.
Weird though.  "I want to be a tree" was a classic.  Can't believe it's nowhere to be found...  :D

I sort of just want to stay there forever, and turn Glastonbury into a commune where we all work and live together. That's what I think every year! :(
