Bloc party are quite rubbish live, can't see the old fella being able to stay awake for the whole of his set. So see you at Erol.

Its Neil Young or Doves for me. The way the times have worked out though, I can check out 45mins of NY and then head off to Doves if I/we've seen enough. Can't stand Bloc Party to be honest. Was never that into Neil Young, but my mate has converted me in the last few months, some awesome songs.
One thing I've learnt over the years, is take the opportunity to see the legends that play as they aint around for ever, whereas two-bit indie bands come and go. Bloc Party will be playing your local venue come this Autumn or Spring.

I must admit that Animal Collective completely passed me by until I saw all the fuss about them on these forums. Thought I better check it out. Downloaded the album, listened to it, and thought this sounds familiar, and a quick google later realised its the bloke from Panda Bear!

Lets not be silly, Neil Young is a living legend and still performs amazingly live, you can't miss out on seeing him - catch bloc at the 02 academy for £11, they're shite (live) anyway.
1 week until shakey rocks in the free world once again!
it's better to burn out, than it is to rust

Of the two I'd go for Bloc Party, but just do what you feel like at the time.

Yeah, but I went to see The Who the other year with this argument and it was shit
Hopefully Doves for me if I can get in but not bothered who as seen them a few times. Might saunter to Neil Young but not that arsed
