Cheers man. Is the West one the one nearer the JP stage?

West Car Parks stretch all the way along the fence line on the west side of the fence, so from the bottom of Pennards, along parallel to the Other Stage/Dance field, down to the JPT, yes. East are on much higher ground, over behind the Acoustic/Stone Circle/Shangri La corner of the site. East are much bigger, so probably clear quicker, West are much more convenient for where I like to camp - Other Stage field (Oxlyers). You pays your money and you takes your choice.

by the way you dont want the yellow gate, as that will most likely leave you entering through gate a which is miles from park home. you want the first car park you get to when coming from the m5 j23, i think its orange.

I thought that anyone coming from the north would automatically go into the west car park? As there isn't that much west of the site as far as the whole country goes!

What's the best carpark for the Dairy Ground? Also, what is the Dairy Ground like? I'll be camping with some friends and they suggested that area. Is it quite a semi quiet area and do you think it would be prone to flooding?

Driving down from Bristol on the A37 is quite likely to end up getting you directed into the East car parks, hence my little loop to bring me in on the A361. If you come down the M5 you will, of course, approach from the West on the A361 and get the west car parks. That's how I've always read it anyway.I thought that anyone coming from the north would automatically go into the west car park? I should point out that what ever route you choise you will not be able to choise the car park you go in so if you are coming on the west side and it is wet you will be on the other side of the A361. Long walk.

Is the blue route (gate 2) the best car park for big ground campsite?
If so can anyone tell me the best way to go if I'm coming from the North? ie: M6, M5?

The west car park is best for Dairy it is quite busy at the bottom but that is because it is near the railway line. In the rain it does not get very badly muddied up as the slope is not too steep. It is fairly quite when I am not there.

Cheers!
Why does the railway line attract a lot of people?
