The Rakes- one album wonders
The View - idiot music for idiots, by idiots
White Lies - watered down Editors, so ergo, a bit like adding water to already watered squash. Sub Editors if you will
The Ting Tings - shut up and let me go - take your own advice love
Bloc Party - great music, awful, awful, awful, awful, awful lyrics
Jack Penate - dross
Jamie T - absolute dross daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarlin i'm frum sawth lawdwn innit
Kasabian - if I wanted to listen to Primal Scream, I would listen to Primal Scream. Also seem to be followed by REAL PEOPLE who like REAL MUSIC to HAVE IT to whilst drinking stella and wearing bucket hats
The Script - it's like they had a competiton to create the most unoriginal band ever
Paulo Nutini - nothing music
Pendulum - eurotrance backed with soft rock with the vocoder effect from Cher's "Believe" over every song
Enter Sjikari - abomination of a band
Bat For Lashes - I simply don't get it
Glasvegas - no wonder your dad left you yer miserable prick
The Wombats - a bunch of c**ts
Just Jack - nursey rhymes from a tosser
Ladyhawke - generic 80s electro pop -OH BUT SHE'S MARKETED AS INDIE SO IT'S OK TO LIKE HER
Noisettes - After their advert success, I wonder if old school fans will be at the front chanting WHERE WERE YOU WHEN WE WERE SHIT
There, that was a worthwhile way to spend my time wasn't it. But hey ho, apparently if I don't slag things off, then the site will go out of business so it's for all for your own good.

Just remind me again which band you are in so we can see how good you are?

Wow, you must lead a great life if you have the time to spend naming all the bands you dont like.
Maybe you should go to the "Old Moaners" meetup on the Thurday night behind the beer bus

Genius!
Think I'd agree with just about every one of them. I've never heard someone sum up The View and Kasabian so well.
Although, I have to say, you didn't say anywhere near enough bad words about Enter Shikari... you kind of made up for it with the Wombats description though.
And if you "just don't get" Bat for Lashes - go see them. They're brilliant!
Good post, I like it!

I reckon we tie him to a post - slap a pair of headphones on him, stick some Backstreet Boys on repeat and leave him there for all 5 days of the festival.

Oh dear.
It was a response to the Fleet Foxes thread, in which I was informed that apparently slagging things off generates income for the site and without it this place wll close.
This post was to prove how tedious people just slagging things off his. Hopefully it has achieved its aim

The funny thing is, I don't. They're good and all 7/10 I'd say.
The point is just slagging stuff is boring, when there is so much music in the world to be discovered.
