As I didn't go to Glastonbury in 2008, I didn't get to sample the 'new zone' which replaced Lost Vagueness, Shangri La. I always used to love the late night shenanigans at Lost Vagueness, does the new zone offer the same? Or, is it better?
If I recall correctly, the chapel used to be in Lost Vagueness, has that gone too or can you still get married at Glasto?

IMO it's better.

All gone, but now 100% better. Some bar venues remain, however the church is not one of them.

Yep, much much better. LV felt tacky to me, Shangri La feels more comfortable and well run

SL feels like a natural part of the festival. It's a great addition
LV was a bit 'look at us, we're much cooler than you saps'. Except it was trying that bit too hard and ended up looking a twat.

I only went for the first time in 2007, so I don';t know how great LV was "back in the day".
However from my experience
Shangri-La and Trash City>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LV
I went to LV and people seemed to just turn up and expect to be entertained and then go "Oh, nothing's going on"
In the new places everyone was going nuts

The loss of Lost Vagueness is no great loss.
Trash City and Shangri La are much better improvements.

Great news! Even more excited now than I was before . . . . if that's possible.
Shame about the church, my friend Laura and I were gonna' get married this year. As you do! Just for the hell of it.
