Fires and Barbys in the campervan fields?

I've probably answered this question many times but for the life of me my memory has completely gone! I've had many bbq's in the campervan fields before but this year I'm not sure what the official word is and the offical site answers most cv questions but not this one.

Could it be bbq's yes, general camp fires no?

Er, officially no but we've had one every year for the last 5 years and no issues as long as it is under control and not too big.

Indeed - this is what it says on the back of the ticket. BBQs must be 3 metres from any vehicles.

It also says tents behind vans but we've always had numerous tents pitched wherever they can fit in. As long as you keep fire lanes clear and don't take the p*ss then security will turn a blind eye.
