Just a quickie, my Dad is 59, he's been to Glasto for the last 2 years, this year he's cycling there....from Leeds! My brother made Glasto Press aware and they said they might feature him in the Q daily. So if you see a feature of a nutter with bike that's my dad, say hello if you see him / us on site

Proud to have a dad who's gutted that Echo and the Bunnymen and The Prodigy Clash

Well I hope the weather is kind to your dad on his journey to Glasto ie not too hot, wet or windy otherwise he may be too tired to leap about to bands like 'The Prodigy' etc.
Is he taking his camping gear (tent etc) with him on the bike too ?
Good Luck to him whatever - it's good green transport strategy
(but not for everyone) !!
PS You should be proud of your dad - not that many men of that age are so fit.
