Janes don't do it for me, never have. Even Porno for Pyros waste of time. Not heavy enough, no balls to the music and Perry Farrel gets right on my tits.
I appreciate your attempt at making some sentences for me.

Hope you enjoyed Janes 'Three Days'
Oh aye.

I enjoyed the industrial lighting rig at the o2. Very old school NIN.

They should be kick-arse!  Although i gotta say something about the O2 gig - amazing start, great ending.... but i thought the middle section sagged a little.  I reckon Sonisphere will be better as they'll have a shorter set and just crank it from start to finish.

yeah i thought that, my legs were killing me after about 15 songs and i was secretly starting to hope they would play 'Head Like A Hole' and then i could leave....and then came gary numan with Metal and Cars & i suddenly had a new leese of live & started pogo sticking like a nutcase with the rest of the crowd  <_<

NIN shows always have the 'slow' middle section where they throw out some of the instrumental tracks or generally less guitar based tracks.  They usually step up the visuals during that middle section but since this was a stripped back style of show it didnt have the same impact it sometimes does.  I still thought it worked well though.

In other words, thank's for the conversation, but I disagree.

The O2 was simply amazing. 'cept the beer prices.

Gary Numan appearance was utter brilliance. Please please come to the O2.

On a side note? anyone hang around after in the indigo2?

What did people think of NIN? Personally I thought it was far too short as they came on late and finished early and Trent should have played a more festival set, no Head Like a Hole, March of the Pigs, Closer (I still thought he may play this one last time) The Hand That Feeds :-(

For me if those 3/4 songs had been in the set list it would have kept the crowd a lot happier.   I also though Trent looked tired during the set.  Saying that 70% of the crowd were only really interested in seeing Metallica.

Completely agree, it was a bit low key really - I know it lost a lot due to being in daylight, but the song choices could have changed that - the first couple set things off to a good start, but then it sort of fizzled out, lessing the impact of Hurt at the end.

Compared to their performance at Leeds a few years ago (which was breathtaking), I was quite disappointed.

i have to say that although it was a bit mellow, and not a festival set AT ALL, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

it was nice to see 3 different sets over the last 3 weeks for me.

however, a go out with a bang kinda set might have worked better for the vast majority and that should have included gave up, sin, closer, head like a hole, terrible lie, march of the pigs, the hand that feeds, only etc etc.

Yea, i can't say i was dissapointed as i still thought they were amazing, something i can never have live was awesome as was lights in the sky, tbh i thought the setlist was phenomenal, they did just look very tired and alot of the audience were pretty disinterested, my expectations for them were so high though after seeing them at reading a few years ago that i doubt they could have been matched last night, or ever really. I just wish they'd played a bit longer and thrown in head like a hole, and they should have played starf**kers inc.

i actually thought it was pretty hilarous to be honest, playing that sort of set at a festival when everyone is expecting "the hits" is just the kinda thing trent reznor does. and that is why i love him. they were f**kin awesome.

i've seen them 5 times now and that was by far the most dissapointing set i have ever watched. And you would have thought with it being their last ever UK show they would of gone out with a bang....was like a wet squid

"We played a purposely quiet, intimate set. I figured it would either enrage or baffle the metal audience... but to our amazement it went over great!
Really fun set to play in that environment."
