Is it possible to get a trailer tent onto the site?

Unlikey, probably only in the camper section.
If you can the journey will require a small army to push the thing.

the general camping for tents is on a hill, a pretty steep one at that.

There were a few trailer tents in Family camping last year and the year before. We took a camping trailer in last year, but it was tricky getting it out. We basically took it to the top of the hill by the car park empty then handballed everything up there. Obviously not easy with a trailer tent, but with a few people pushing you would get out.

On the Monday we left really late last year and there were a couple of those big golf buggy six wheeled things around, and I spotted that they had tow balls on them, so I am sure it would have been possible to negotiate a tow out if you were not in a hurry. Also there is a road through the middle that I am sure by late Monday you could get your car onto, then hook up down on the level.
