So I managed to get drunk one night and pretty much offer all of my friends a lift down to the festival. I now remember just what a tight squeeze it was to get just 4 people in my car with all our gear last time round so I am now wondering what to do about it.

My solution is to borrow a trailer for our tents\bags\beer etc as my car has a tow-bar.

Has anyone ever driven onside with a trailer before? Am I likely to run into any restrictions for parking it or anything silly?

I know if it is muddy I am doomed but it's definitely going to be sunny so its not a problem!

Cheers
J

I've often thought about taking my trailer but don't fancy doing the trip at 55mph

Doubt it'll be a problem parking.

B'aint a problem parking...it is expected. Have parked up next to or near many a big arse trailer with a  canoe and sofa in the back over the years!

Ah, now that you mention it I do remember seeing cars with trailers in the car park before… duh.

…oh how Glastonbury blurs the memory!

Great stuff, cheers for the replies.

55mph is not a problem is we are heading down Tuesday night to stay somewhere locally.
