Because of clashes. Bands who you'd usually jump at the chance of seeing. For me:

Bloc Party
Emmy the Great(3 times!)
Kasabian (:D)
M. Ward
Tindersticks
Gaslight Anthem
Franz Ferdinand
Jarvis Cocker
Blur/Prodigy (still not made my mind up)

Looking at past line-ups, none are as bad as this year. Gutting. :(

M Ward (but I've just won a pair on ebay to his Shepherds Bush date on the 30th - face value or just under)

Doves - Saw them recently at Brixton Academy.  Love all 4 albums but they're never quite as good live - though BA's awful sound didn't help matters...

Bon Iver X2.... Devastated!  Can't miss Springsteen and really like Nick Cave/never seen him

British Sea Power - was hoping to see at least 30 mins or so before Neil.  Such a good live band but I have seen them 5 times or more.  Plus Halvin's latest revision shows a longer NY set - every cloud.

Jarvis - haven't listened to his solo records yet but like Pulp a lot.

Badly Drawn Boy

YYYs/Teddy Thompson

Bloc Party/Franz Ferdinand - like both bands but not that exciting live so not too annoyed.

Pendulum. I am considering catching the first 30/45 mins of Kasabian, but I think I'd rather watch Maximo Park and have a decent standing positon for Pendulum afterwards. I know if I went and saw Kasabian, I'd get sucked in and stay for the entire set, and miss half of Pendulum's set.

I thought i was going to have to choose between Roots Manuva and Madness, but looks like they are far enough apart that I can see most of Madness.

Status Quo or Boxer Rebellion much harder though.

Still I think I'm seeing enough cheese on Sunday so will probably go to Boxer Rebellion, wanted to see them for a while.

Ray Davies sadly, he's playing at the same time as Neil Young. I've seen Ray before though, so it's not a tragedy.

The Pendulum/Kasabian clash really sucks i keep changing my mind on that one. It'll probably depend on whether we decided to see Bruce or 2manydjs

This is this major clash for me also. Think I'll go to Kasabian because of who is on after.

Jesus, where to begin!

SpecialGuests Pyramid or Special Guests The Park - i know pyramid is NERD but if park is anyone remotely good, i'll see them cus I'm going to go see emiliana torrini afterwards.

Tommy Sparks (For Emilian Torrini)

The King Blues but i'm hoping there are a lot of people on here that say Franz Ferdinand are naf live so i can go see them.

Kasabian and Maximo Park, which is really hard but as i've seen them both twice before, i can sacrifice them for Florence and the Machine. The more I listen to West Ryder though, I may very well change my ruddy mind.

THE toughest choice I have is now Tom Jones or Fight Like Apes. I think i'm going to have to only watch the first half hour of Tom to go see fight like apes.

And finally...The Wombats in favour of Cold War Kids. Pretty obvious choice tbh.

Thankfully, nothing will clash with Grindhouse at 2:30am on sunday so am well happy about that now!

Do not miss Fleet Foxes for Lamb. My forecast is the Foxes set will be legendary. First decent band on the Pyramid on Friday, early sunset slot......"turn the white snow red as strawberries in summertime"
Lamb are great but come on, catch a wave as it's peaking?

Personally, been fighting for weeks with my own mind and 2 mates who are equally up for it.
I have come to the decision that Doves are now binned and Neil Young has to be watched. End of.

Blur - Prodigy

I won't decide this till the time, Blur one of my favourite bands of all time and i've only seen them once and that was after Coxen left.

Prodigy I've seen on telly at festivals and the performances look immense and their latest album has really got me back into them and desperate to see them.  I was so pleased to see they'd finally been confirmed, until I saw where they were on the line up.

I'm thinking blur because I may not get another chance to see them and it'll be a great come back show.  But I would love to go dance the last night away with Prodigy.

No one else I cared about seeing as much as these 2.

I have the same problem.  I have seen Blur twice, in the mid 90s so mid "brit pop" and would soooo love to see them again.  However, when asked what my best concert has been - prodigy is my answer.  Love them both!!!  Its just not fair.
