We had a HUGE thunder storm in work near Brum at about 4.45! It thundered for ages before the rain came. It was a real Glastonbury storm!

Mega rain and thunder in North London, Hoping the same is happening in Glasto....
My thoughts are that the deluge of rain like this NEEDS to happen now, so hopefully it won't at the festival, all over and done with so sun can ensue!!!
I think the monsoon that was predicted has come early, while we are not yet in a field in Somerset!!
Heres hoping my theory is correct!!
"Here comes the sun do do do do"

I know it's wrong but I laughed earlier reading the story on BBC about a cow that got struck by lightening while sheltering under a tree. About 14 other cows also died as they were standing in the same puddle. I feel shameful now.

You should be careful what you say! The cows from Worthy Farm frequently read these forums and wouldn't appreciate you being so flippant about their brethren!
They will hunt you down at the farm!

I wish the storms would come to East Sussex...I feel sick cos of the mugginess in the air. No sign of big grey clouds and only had one tiny little rumble hours ago!

As far as I know it hasn't rained in Somerset and Bristol yet, but it is looking a bit bleak. Let's hope it chucks it down today and tomorrow so it doesn't next week!
(Because that's how weather works of course..

Seriously - I have let this go the couple of times you mentioned it on the weather thread BUT you have pushed me too far woman! Keep your negativity to yourself!!

Despite the existence of a very long and very good weather thread this one refuses to die. So, from now on this thread is about bears.

No, this thread is about NW5.
Has anyone ever been to the Junction Tavern on Fortess Rd; during a hailstorm?
