Guys, there are too many cheese puns in this thread.
Can we all please be a bit more mature?

Edam in its skin keeps fairly well.
If you've got a washing up bowl of water and a tea towel you can use it as a cooler.  Put what you want to keep cool in the bowl of water and drape the tea towel over so that it stays in contact with the water.  The water then evaporates which cools the bowl down.
Alternatively for advice try this

Alcohol makes me want cheese. Cheese makes me want alcohol. Vicious circle.

My Name is MSA and I am addicted to cheese (of every kind) and alcohol (of selected kinds).

I NEVER take cheese sarnies to work. I'd get struck off.

Cheese sandwiches, made correctly with butter and freshly baked bread can be the food of the Gods. However most are shit. I was once given a cheese sandwich made with a slice of Tesco processed cheese. I left the party in disgust

I love cheese, especially when not drinking. Now I don't have the option of taking an ice box with me, but I usually will take a nice camembert or even some Stilton with me. But has anyone any ideas of a different cheese, that doesn't mind getting warm, or even where I can buy cheese on site. Someone said there was but I am unsure.

If you get a huge chunk of stilton you can keep it in my fridge in the glade as long as you share
