Scored some Wensleydale up at the stone circle last year, it was ok, but I think they'd cut it with pickled onion.

At Bearded Theory, Strudders had brought me some Stilton. I was walking around the site at 4 in the morning with it, waiting for the right moment to consume it, and then i got talking to this woman, and i pointed out I had Stilton. She then pulled out a block of cheddar, so we found a spot to watch the sunrise and shared our cheese around....

Loving that cheesy tale.  Did you date afterwards? Sounds like a rather romantic way to meet someone, even if the cheese did smell worse than a tramps feet ....

Peace x

Stilton on pizza is one of cheeses best kept secrets . . . .

Try to keep the cheese cool, but not cold - cheese has to breathe and weep a little for the full flavour to come out. Of course, the warmer it is - the quicker it must be consumed as all sorts of additional moulds and bacteria grow on it quickly, those these are mostly harmless.

Bit of a coals to Newcastle, but you could try and source some Glastonbury Cheddar! This used to be in the supermarkets a few years back now, and used to carry a picture of the Pyramid on the front. Dunno if they still produce it. You could ask at Worthy Farm, and see if they still do free milk too!

It was just one of those random festival events that always seems to happen to me. I find it amazing who you get to talk to in the wee hours.

That festival I was watching the sunrise with a small group and a girl pointed up and said "Oh look. It's the Morningstar. I love the Morningstar". I then said "The Morningstar was a name for Lucifer. Do you worship Satan". She cried, but I got a close hug from her :o

a bottle of port and a nice selection of those small prepacked tester packed cheeses.  perfect for starting the day and clearing that hang over.  that or a good puke to clear the system.

port and cheese is grand, even better if you dont forget your smoking jacket and pipe and sit in comfort eating and drinking
