how do u define faith no more's type of music though? I'd say all over the show is the only way to define it, when they come out with songs like from outta nowhere and caffeine, and then slowed it down at download playing evidence and take this bottle, most bands struggle to be so diverse.

I echo ur sentiments tho, the entire download set is on youtube (or torrents if u want it in one file  ), and is a good mix of their back catalogue which probably does better justice than a lot of the greatest hits collections out there.

mmh tough one but if had to go with genere would say rock/metal band but as you say they are so diverse its difficult to pin point but thats one of the reasons that I love them that they can sound so different between songs :0)

Agree download set flowed really well and is better example of what is so good about FNM as a band, but I appreciate people don't get them but I do think sometimes this is more because you can't gel instantly you have to listen to them a few times to really appreciate them and I think alot of folk have listened to epic (which IMO is not their best song even if its the one they are best known for) and written them off
I get the impress if something doesn't work instantly they are thrown away (this could be said for any band these days tbh)

Faith No More have sold millions of records, most of their original fanbase will be late 20's mid 30's by now and probably don't hang out on message boards. At download there was loads of ppl with FNM shirts most of any band for sure. They will fill the tent I'm sure.

Listen to Angel Dust and King for a Day  (they are on free to listen to on sptify) albums then any thoughts of KoL will disappear

mmmh they have just been announced in Edniburgh Edge Festival on 25th August as well, so that leave the Dublin date that was on tour tee to be announced and they will be done...

Interesting this leg of tour is pure festivals (Brixton aside) me keeping eye out for own tour early next year me thinks (and hopes...)

God Download folk must be peed off!!!

I saw Faith No More and they were amazing, but I'm only going to Reading this year so my girlfriend can see Kings of Leon so looks like I'll have to watch them.  Might try and sneak off to catch a bit of FNM though.

saw both bands this weekend in poland i like them both equally but kol were dull and fnm were 'epic'. Can honestly say that its the best frontman performance I've ever seen. 10/10 for FNM
