Oh, just noticed this thread.

I have to say in my 14 years going to Glasto, I have watched more bands in both the Avalon main and Avalon Cafe, than I have ever seen at any of the main stages.

Actually I think the Avalon field is crap, and most people would be a lot better off just sticking to all the bog big stages.

Nothing to see here folks, move along please. Head west young man, lots of better bands on the main stages.

Avalon Cafe is full of people who hog the chairs and tables all day, not leaving any room for someone to sit down for 5 minutes to eat the food they just purchased.  Lots of thoroughly unpleasant peeps hogging them as well, they even take spare chairs to put their bags and cans of alcohol on.

Oh r0cky, I think you may have had a few bad experiences there, it's not that bad at all. Still, if that puts others off visiting it, that's fine by me

Ah - so that's who it was. Absolutely brilliant, especially combined with Macaroni Cheese. Good times.

loved their set on the Thursday night, liked the green day song and i was the one who admitted voting labour...cheers guys...great gig...gordon is a moron (i love jilted john) was quite funny but just wish 'politics' was as simple as bands sometimes make out...must try and get a copy of the song about the hanging as that was class
