Coming soon to a radio (or computer) near you...
Worthy FM - the only radio station coming to you from the heart of Glastonbury Festival, with all the best festival news, travel, weather, stage times, music and live performances from biggest stars and best up-and-comers.
On air between 22nd and 29th June on 87.7FM, or via the web via our MySpace page.
And if you want to keep in touch with us by a range of other contemporary means, we've also got a Facebook group - sign up here.
And even a Twitter - which you can find here.
Keep 'em peeled for more news soon.

What's the range on your transmitter? How close do we have to be to the festival before we can pick you up in our cars on our way in?

Ooh now, that depends on all sorts of things, from atmospheric conditions, to how high up you are and how good your aerial is. Last year we had people as far afield as Bath, the southern fringes of Bristol and South Wales pick us up, but it's usually a little nearer than that.
Your best bet is to keep our frequency programmed into your car stereo and keep flipping onto it to see. A good rule of thumb though is, as soon as the traffic starts to get a bit sticky, chuck us on, because you should be able to hear us from there, and it'll keep you up to date with the traffic situation.
Actually, if you'd all like to let us know how far away from the festival you can actually hear us when we're broadcasting, that'd be a really handy thing.
And of course, if you've got one of those fancy mobile phones you'll be able to pick us up over the internet if you're not getting us on the radio yet!

for the first time last year i went by car, and getting into somerset we realised we forgot about worthy fm....OMG's it came on and i was so excited, i always get excited about glasto well before, and im so excited now even tho there is like 19 days to go, but hearing worthy fm made me feel like i was part of something special that only a percentage of england would experience...thats what creates that "community" feel, that excitement that everyone shares when you're there, but listening to worthy FM i started feeling like glasto had begun...you worthy fm and me both sharing the same degree of excitement, this yr, im tuning in online from the 22nd and not turning u off,...ull be hearing from me alot i imagine lol
