Can anyone suggest cheapest way to get down to v last year it was only about £30 by train looked at farers this year and its over a £100 each is there any cheap rail fare websites etc tried qjump and virgin used to do specials for the fest but don't seem to now

we are hoteling it this year due to travelling quite abit and the terrible weather we have seen at v past cpl of years hotels are gonna cost us £175

I don't drive so not really an option at this rate think i might have to sell my tickets and just go to scummy t in the park at this rate as its simply too pricey

any help would be great

at this rate for two us to go its gonna cost
£300 for tickets
£175 for hotels
£200 for trains

thats before we even think about buying a few beers in the fest

Could go on the National Express...

http://www.nationalexpress.com

for example
Glasgow to Wolverhampton, and return journey, for two people ranges from £86-£128, then hop on the shuttle bus to V

or have a look at the Big Green Coach company, they do coaches straight to V from most places

try thetrainline.com

or

You can book tickets for any route using any train operator. If you shop around different operators the fares vary wildly. last year we found it cheaper to book with Hull Trains even though they never operated between London and Wolverhampton.
