When Jokers Attack Posted November 22, 2015 Report Share Posted November 22, 2015 BT Sport are pricks. Recording cut off during last round of Magny/Gastelum as the event was over running. Was really enjoying that fight. Rest of card was pretty crap apart from Diego Sanchez/Lamas. Diego is a warrior. Didn't see prelims but 6/6 decisions on main card. I know this is primarily an mma thread but boxing was class last night, Cotto/Canelo lived up the much anticipated hype and the main undercard fight was a classic. Recommend checking both out. Main event was OK, I just hate when 2 fighters consistently get into fight finishing positions, and fail to finish their opponent. Happened a lot on that card. I'm actually "over" Diego now. Standing in front of your opponent and waving them to "come and bang" isnt a technique. The fight against Giblert was great, but you can't come across as serious when you have zero gameplan. You are probably right actually, the main event probably seemed better than it actually as as the rest of the card sucked, don't think it was a bad fight though, Magny has impressed me as of late. I love it on the floor section at UFC events, would never even bother attending if I couldnt get floor tickets. Be nice to see Aldo come out and destroy him but then be good to see McGregor running with it and possibly bringing an actual proper UFC PPV over to Ireland in a stadium. He is a very skilled fighter, I just hate his bullshit, and the fanboys who buy into it. I've always said Aldo and I'll be sticking with picking him but as we know anything can happen, such a great card. Weidman/Rockhold should be class and Jacare/Romero title eliminator is a fight I'm really excited for. Three fight cards next week so going to be amazing.
