Sorry if this has been said but he has a new album out and yet to be announced European dates, surely Glastonbury is his kind of place? Would love to see him! What do you all think?

I'd guess it's unlikely.

Yusaf was the act that Michael was very excited about a few years ago, but despite setting Emily and all of her charms on him, he couldn't be convinced to play. From what I got to hear, it seemed like he felt he didn't want the sort of profile that doing a Glastonbury performance would bring him.

I know he's doing the Island 50 thing in a week or two, but I guess that's because of his relationship with Chris Blackwell - Blackwell was renowned for the great relationships he had with his acts. While it's the biggest thing he's done for quite a while and I know there's people flying in from all round the world to see it, it's still a very long way below the profile of Glastonbury.

id love him to play one year i think it would be a very important performance...hope they persuade him eventually
