I like the vibe on the Friday, it is nice and chilled.  We will get there as early as we possibly can, chill out and make use of the Carling cold beer amnesty!  

And hopefully, we might actually get into the indie disco this year, as it did look great from the outside!

We managed to get into the tent last year, albeit for about 30 seconds, when we realised that it was the busiest Ive ever seen it, and decided to chill and get even more hammered back at our own tent!
Hopefully this year they will have sorted out the dogleg in the JJB, sorry Arena, and the congestion wont be quite as bad

we couldn't get in round the front so went to one of the side entrances...there was loads of room!

think we got there at bout 8sh and we around the back ..seemed to get very busy all of a sudden though, and the back soon turned to the middle !!

was a quality night  regardless..Muse > Indie disco > the rest

I love the Friday

Last year's shennanigans involved, drinking most of the day, singing and going on the fairground, having a mooch etc..

Playing football with the security guards dressed in a huge Afro and a Tu Tu.

The Indie Dicso, Storng bow tent and back to the Mash shop to party away

Being chased my a police man, becasue he wanted his hat back.

Staying up all night, walking around the site

If I am honest I can't really remember friday night at all. I was wrecked. I had some bad news that nght though, a friend of the family died of a heart attack and i kinda went into shock... plus I was let down BADLY by some man, but he's made up for it now   (he better make this year special)

I'll need you lot to turn the noise down as I'll be sleeping off Thursday night's excesses of U2 in Sheffield and a 6am start to get up to V! Ah who am I kidding I'll be too drunk and buzzing with anticipation to sleep for 72 hours!

Just had an invite from the bowtime bar on facebook and it looks like bowtime will be open from 5:00 til 12:00 on Friday night!!!
