Dear Valued GlobalGathering Customer,
Without Prejudice
You may be aware of the unfortunate closure of Trinity Street Direct Limited ("Trinity Street") who were the retailer of tickets for GlobalGathering up to 16 February 2009.
After several weeks of drawn out discussions with the administrators of Trinity Street we have finally been provided with the data for customers who purchased a ticket for GlobalGathering 2009 (the
"Festival") through them and your details have been provided to us.
Please accept our apologies for the delay in communicating with you but it was impossible to do so until this data had been received.
We are pleased to advise you that we can now commit to honour your purchase of a ticket for the Festival provided the below procedure is followed. Unfortunately if this procedure is not followed we will have no alternative method of confirming your booking and therefore would be unable to provide you with a ticket for the Festival.
The procedure to follow is:
1) No later than 5pm on Friday 17 April 2009 provide the following information to the email address or postal address as set out at the end of this email:-
a) advise us of the date of your order, the tickets that you ordered and the cost of your purchase;
b. a copy of any correspondence you have received from Trinity Street in relation to your order that must detail your order identification number (likely to be via an email from Trinity Street). Your order identification number must match the data provided to us by Trinity Street. Unfortunately if you are not able to provide this number we will not be able to confirm your order and you will not receive a ticket.
c) proof of your address that matches the address on the data we have been given, through a current utility bill, such document to be dated after 1 January 2009.
d) proof of purchase of your ticket via a copy of a bank statement or a credit card statement. Please blank out all details of your account on the bank or credit card statement but ensure that your name and address are visible as is the transaction to purchase the tickets.
2) Provided the above is received and it matches the information given to us by Trinity Street and all is in order we will be able to confirm to you in writing by email that your purchase is valid for the Festival.
3) Physical tickets will be sent to you by post to the address that was given when your order was placed. If you have moved address please contact us and we will advise you of the additional procedure with regard to this.
We value your support as a purchaser of GlobalGathering tickets and apologise that we have had to put this procedure in place but, as we hope you will appreciate, this has been necessitated by events outside of our control.
Please ensure that any correspondence you send is headed “GlobalGathering Trinity Street” and emailed to ts1@globalgathering.co.uk or posted to Jo Roberts, GlobalGathering, PO Box 11492, Henley in Arden, B95 6WG.
We look forward to hearing from you.

God knows! I got the same email. I'm going to send all the info they've asked for tomorrow (Wednesday) and just pray that they give me my tickets. I'm extremely annoyed about it though...I didn't even know Trinity Street had gone bust until I got that email. I thought it was a joke to begin with.
Will try and keep you updated if I hear anything from them after I send my stuff.

Oh...I forgot to say, I'm pissed off too that Trinity Street just handed my information over to these people willy nilly! Isn't that illegal?

I have checked with the Global Office and the email is genuine so it looks I will have to supply the informaton ater all.
However, I am glad Global are still honouring the purchases as Trinity had gone bust as far as I know.
As long as I get my tickets I will be happy.
