Few rumours circulating earlier but has died a death?
Any reasons why?
Very much hope they play

I don't think it was ever anything more than people on here wanting them to play, and it coinciding with new album. Unfortunately us wanting them to play doesn't equal rumour.

Anybody heard any Gomez for Glasto 2010 rumours?
None the wiser myself & don't fancy our chances for them being there tbh. They're currently on a short American tour that finishes at the end of the month. No dates after that, and no new album to promote..
They have just released a great live record from the last UK tour in November. You can listen for free & buy it from here: http://www.gomeztheb...com/liveseries/
*crosses fingers anyway*

Just spent the last hour or so, paying, downloading, unzipping, expanding, burning, and listening to this and it's awesome. It used to be so easy when record shops sold records.
It says on their website that they're going into the studio soon in the States so I doubt they'll be back for summer festies in the UK. Can but hope though. Maybe a Ben solo gig would be logistically easier.

I know. I couldn't make it up. Haven't been to gig in a few months now, and after promising an old uni mate I'd go to his stag weekend I find out Ben's doing a solo show in Derbyshire on the same weekend. Other end of the country.
*shakes head at logistical inequalities of my life*

Yea, saw them in Northampton in November and the crowd there was subdued to say the least. Only getting mildly excited for songs on Bring It On & Liquid Skin, from which they didn't play many!! Didn't bother me, thought they were great..
