Okay, we did this last year and it was much fun (mainly because i won).

You are allowed to edit up to and including the 18th March. Anything edited after that time will be null and void (Because last year we closed on the 19th).

6 bands on main each day
3 bands on nme
1 special guests slot is allowed, and you are allowed to put a band in brackets to cover your back.

There is a point system for the accuracy of your prediction: 1 point for correctly guessing a band, 2 for band in correct position, and 3 for correct band/position/day. Please specify whether you are doing it for Leeds or Reading - even if it will be clear from your predictions. Copying is completely allowed, but against the spirit of the game.

Its exactly the same as last year, except last year i won with 49/81. If anyone beats that this year i will majorly tip my hat to them, as the rumours are very scarce

My prediction..................(and it will get edited)

Friday | Saturday | Sunday

Kings of Leon | Arctic Monkeys| Radiohead
Kaiser Chiefs | Lostprophets | The Offspring
Fall Out Boy | Yeah Yeah Yeahs | Janes Addiction
The View | Fun Lovin' Criminals | Weezer
The Subways | Enter Shikari | Funeral For a Friend
Vampire Weekend | Bowling for Soup | Fightstar

NME

The Cure | Ian Brown | Glasvegas
White Lies| Fleet Foxes| Justice
The Futureheads | The Rakes | Friendly Fires

For Reading:

      Fri      Sat          Sun
Arctic Monkeys | Kings of Leon     | Radiohead
Kaiser Chiefs   | Placebo              | The Offspring
Klaxons           | Maximo Park      | Lostprophets
Enter Shikari   |  Doves               | Fall Out Boy
Idlewild           | Yeah Yeah Yeahs| Rise Against
Starsailor        | Futureheads        | Bowling For Soup

NME

The Cure       | Glasvegas             | The Hives
Modest Mouse  | The Subways       | Brand New

That's my take for the moment. Nothing too controversial or different on mine, there's a few perhaps in slightly odd places but didn't know where else to put them.

I read the OP as "Guess bands who are going to play". Since we know they're going to play (Or at least I do), guessing them would get you points...

The OP isn't really clear on scoring though. When you say bonus points for getting the correct 'position' does this mean if you put someone third on main they have to play third on main? Or if you put them on main they have to play main? I read it as the latter, but I may be wrong.

Anyways, I'm not playing since I don't know indie bands and would have about 3 bands on my prediction for the whole weekend... You lot can predict as you wish. I just thought it was strange that people weren't predicting a band that have self-confirmed to be playing...

I thought it was pretty clear, but maybe i should have said top 6 bands on main, top 3 bands on NME. Though the point system is very clear, 1 point for correctly guessing a band, 2 for band in correct position, and 3 for correct band/position/day.

Assume we say Kaiser Chiefs end up 2nd on main stage on saturday.

If you put that; 3 points
If you put that they are 2nd but on sunday or friday; 2 points
If you put that they are on the saturday but not 2nd; 2 points
If you put them 3rd on the sunday or monday; 1 point.

Simple enough?

But lets say someone did put 36 crazyfists. They are playing, so maybe we can assume 1 point. But of course, if they dont get announced on the 30th march. 0 points. Even if they are later playing (because by the 1st april we'd have forgotten about this thread).
