I used about 40 of the purple, red and orange ones for 375ml, but that was still quite a strong vodka taste. If you've got over twice as much then I would suggest that your going to need closer to 100; although that sounds like loads...

think I remember reading somewhere earlier on the thread to go for 2-3 sweets per shot

Well, I smashed up two packets of riesen, placed the bits in a 330ml water bottle and filled it with a mixture of wyborowa and absolut vodka (the wyborowa ran out!).  Gave it a lot of shaking, warmed it over some boiling water and shook it some more.  The mixture is looking very nice and smelling gorgeous.  I had a cheeky sip, I couldn't resist... it tastes very nice, but still get that harsh vodka "ouch" down the throat, I'm hoping some time and filtering will lessen this a little...

I've been avoiding doing flavoured vodka this year but that sounds delicious!  I'm going to have a look for some in Morrisons on the way home.

Loving the thread guys. I was planning on avoiding spirits this year after over doing it the last 2 years and not remembering any of my favourite bands but this thread has inspired me to give it another go.

I'm thinking of going for a litre bottle and splitting it in half, one half will be cola cube or cherry drop and the other i'm gonna try the reisen chocolate chew vodka. Just wondering what is the consistency of the Reisen vodka, doesn't the chocolate keep seperating and sinking to the bottom?

hmmmm, the pastilles aren't dissolving in mine. Perhaps I added too many!

Will give it a warm in boiling water i reckon, but can't taste it while i'm ill anyway....
