ok, iv been playin with vodka and sweets in preparation for glasto, after the much hyped skittles vodka!!
done a few mixed flavour skittles and the single colours too so far, plus cherry drop vodka (which is nice but not quite as good as skittles)
so, any other suggestions for what sweets to try next?

I think you should try Cherry Menthol Tunes.

I did it with werthers original once - was tasty.
Bloody skittles vodka - I never get it right. My friend went to a great effort to seperate her colours once and made one with the yellow and greens. It tasted 100% like Lempsip. There was lots of pisstaking.
Mars bar vodka is amazing!

And another thing... We used the surviving part of a pair of extremely laddered (and hopefully clean) tights as a filter and they worked great!

iv heard bout the werthers orig one, am a bit dubious about it though
watermelon does sound nice indeed!
best 2 mixes iv done with skittles so far are red/yellow/orange and red/purple, i use quite a few skittles per half litre, about 3 fifths of a large pack minimum
iv been using medical gauze for filtering, works a treat

Mmmm...I'm thinking I may experiment with this myself! I take it you just chop/mush up and stick in bottle?
If so, how long do you think you need to leave it in for? Guess it can't be too long as it would start to decompose!?!

Rhubarb and custard is lovely, sticky but lovely. Pineapple cubes are good, pear drops, basically any boiled sweets can be used

We've made skilttles and refreshers vodka, both were lovely!! Parma violets would probably work, but not much of a fan of those!
I was thinking about jelly beans/babies for this year, but may have to do a test run first! Apparently coffee filters are good for filtering, but we have just used an old (clean!) t-shairt, which has worked a treat! Also, if you can scoop the thicker frothy stuff of the top, it makes filtering it a lot easier!!

do a chocolate vodka and when it's ready mix it with orange juice and hey presto you have a jaffa cake drink!
worthers originals and murray mints are also very good you're best off crushing them up before adding them though to make them dissolve quicker

chop up/crush whatever it is you want to flavour your vodka
buy vodka remove a little to make room for ingredients
add ingredients to vodka
leave to fully dissolve (time to dissolve varies depending on ingredients)
seive the remaining sediment from the vodka
drink
enjoy
fall down
giggle
drink more
fall down
pass out

Made cherry drop vodka for glastyo last year, was absolutely epic!
Boiled sweets are best as you rarely need to filter them
