Never been to V before and plannin on takin our camper this year, i gather we buy our weekend with camping tickets then 1 campervan pitch ticket?but on the V website, in the info bout campers and caravans it says 'all campervan pitches are now sold out'....i dunno whether this is true or if it's old info from last years! Anyone know?

I wouldn't have thought they could possibly have sold out already. They normally don't go on sale until general ticket release.

We're taking a camper, but just parking it up and using a tent instead. you don't get to camp in any of the 'proper' campsites with a camper. plus it's an extra fifty quid on your ticket.

Never been to Stafford V, but the one at Chemlsford is much nicer than Reading, so I'm assuming it will be roughly the same. You don't get that rank smell that you do at Reading and tents aren't nearly as tightly packed.
