Last year we had Girls Aloud and the year before it was Mcfly. Wonder who we will get this year?

Have you seen the lineup???????
I would say the token pop act that you refer to could be one of Aleasha Dixon, the Saturdays or Taylor Swift. We always get a few at V last year we had the Sugar Babes and Duffy as well as Girls Aloud. It is the variety that makes V for me. I like seeing acts that I wouldn't usually ever go and see. Girls Aloud were good last year and McFly were suprisingly entertaining the year before.

yeah but the reason you found mcfly entertaining was because there were 2 girls staging a sit in and it was fun watching them get trampled on for sitting in such a bloody stupid place
Not that I enjoyed it at all.....

It's hard to find any pop in amongst all the Grindcore bands announced thus far

I couldn't point out any pop acts on the line up this year... I mean Lady GaGa & Katy Perry are heavy metal, no?
