Just received this from V
Thanky you very much for pre booking your V Festival 2009 tickets back in
2008, your loyaltly to V is very much appreciated.
It is with regret that we have to tell you that this year there will be no

refund for that ticket.
We hope that you'll have an equally enjoyable weekend come 22nd and 23rd
August despie this.
Yours sincerely

maybe they realised two whole days with not much put on for people wasn't a great plan.
personally last year i liked the getting there on thursday, traffic in was less chaotic and you could pick where to camp wihout a mad rush to do it before loads more arrived!

Do it!! I've traded there for a few years and it really is one of my favourites. It's laid back, well-organised, has great music, great food and the toilets are to die for! You won't regret it. I've done V 3 times and I only went back a third time because of Radiohead in 2006.

FFS!
That's it, I'm going to pull out all the stops to go to Sonisphere or Bloodstock (and sell V ticket).

I'm not sure I believe this as I haven't had an e-mail and the spelling mistakes make me suspicious!

Bollocks - i'm well pissed off about that - surely they got their fair wedge out of people by doing that and everyone got there without the stress that will now be the Friday morning mad rush! Even the line up's relatively poor this year.

I'm pretty gutted that the early arrival has been cancelled. It was good last year, nice to arrive a bit more chilled, not in a massive scrum for space, queuing for three years at the wristband exchange etc etc.
Oh well, early start on the Friday it is then.

Yeh man. Sucks. I hope they open the car parks early this year. I had to park in a lane and wait for an hour. Time we used to decorate Punto1 in flowers! Made it easy to find in the carpark tho!!
