Just realised there isn't a thread for Thimbleberry on here. There's nothing on their website about it except for the dates and only a few bands listed on their Facebook page.

What's going on? :)

Hes got a date up 5th to 7th June 2009 thats about as much as you can expect from Andy at this time of year, I've never known him to be organised this early  :)

The mighty Zion Train and the wonderful ZubZub on the mainstage for starters!! Also Prognosis are looking after the dance tent again so it will be top quality!! I understand there will be a separate chill tent this June as well...

I am sorely tempted but it would mean not going to Sunrise, I'm sure as Sunrise do release whats happening the decision will be made..

The very thought of a "chill out " tent at Thimmby is utterly contradictory imo--- because as far as I recall---and I DO recall cos King Larmer was only a few months old... the dance music PLAYED AND PLAYED AND PLAYED AND f**kIN PLAYED just about over everythging else... we were parked a good way a way in the old Tranny--and at 4am--it was still belting out.One night, i had a walk over at about 3am--- there was nee body there-- they`d f**ked off and left the music on--I was tempted to cut the cable esp as at that time--dance music wasn`t on our agenda.
Ha--the security staff--and i say that with all the conviction i can muster--- ha! They were in a worse state than me.
Great it was. 1st seen Jon Gomm there--- good guitair man.
we`ll be there in the cold rain and snow....

I started to think it was an attempt at brainwashing. I could still hear it days later. ;)

I love Thimbleberry, it's like the 80s all over again

But, yeah that music ALL night was enough to prove to me I'm a wee bit older than I was back then!
