I agree! Last year had the great weather but a weak 'one-dip-tea-bag-up-of-tea' line-up!

I don't agree with you, last year was great with some big names (Radiohead / Neil Young / Kings of Leon / Chemical Brothers), some old (Slayer / Judas Priest / My Bloody Valentine), some new (MGMT / Polarkreis 18 / Santogold / Slagsmålsklubben / The Ting Tings) and a handfull of good bands (Band of Horses / Dillinger Escape Plan / The Streets / Solomon Burke / Gnarls Barkley / Duffy).

I was living in Denmark last year, and just before Roskilde started you could find leeflets everywhere with the propaganda of idea that Roskilde is dieing and it is getting worse n worse. The project had its own webpage, whatever the address was, they are naming the bands who would be great to see, but are not listed on the actual list. These guys have been doing it for a few years now, just to show that Roskilde is losing its best side.
Once again, the majority of such festivals as: Leeds, Glastonbury, Rock m Ring, Hurricane, Pinkpop, Novarock, Pukkelpop etc. share about 45% of the bands.
I felt crapy missing The Raveonettes, Radiohead, Beta Satan and a few more last year. I was ready to go , but my financial status said "sleep home"
Anyway, Roskilde is the most expensive festival so far, as i know...

Wish they would announce a few more bands than just a couple every week.
There's a big announcement at some stage of about 100 or so acts. Can't remember exactly when, but think it's around April.
