just paid the balance of my lot off this evening - no probs at all - just needed reg numbers. Took the insurance as well (due to current climate) probably means diddlysquat if see were to go into administration - but fingers crossed that wouldnt happen.

Just paid mine too. Shame they don't take Credit Cards, would have liked to have deferred it for a month or two, but nice to know it's paid!

Seems a bit harsh the February deadline, I mean the tickets aren't normally even on sale until April.

Still, can't wait now!

Just done it online now. Had a problem using Internet Explorer, but switched browser to Opera and it worked fine. Roll on June.

Mmmm it seems everybody is struggling this year me included.

I am lucky in my son paid the deposit and I have only had to find the remainder, however I know how hard it is at the moment. There is no way I could have taken the kids this year.

Also my reading ticket is paid for by a great mate of mine who is allowing me to pay bits and bobs off.

Now this is odd - when did Glasto change the deadline date for the balance to be paid? I'm sure (and a quick Google search shows some reference to this) - but wasn't the deadline 22nd March 2009?

i think when it was first spoken of March was mentioned but certainly since it was confirmed its always been 1st february

I've just paid off the remainder of the balance there with my debit card no problem, though I'm going to be really struggling the rest of the month. Luckily I've already paid for my flights and accommodation the night before so it's only spending money now I need to get together but as I only work part time I'll find it hard to save a decent amount. One thing for certain is my planned trip to Amsterdam at the end of March certainly isn't going to happen.

Cheers strud, it's just a cashflow thing for me, car tax, MOT & insurance all due at the start of feb. That and the fact that i've got to pay for a new engine to be fitted to it next week too (£1300 that'll have cost me in total)

Christmas and cars are a killer.

I know its has been a few months but it could have been pushed to end of Feb or March. I really dont see the issue with doing it in Jan.

Unless they want the money in the bank, but the timing really does suck.
