I watched them all back to back on Saturday.  For some reason watched them in the order of 4 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 5 - 6.  The battle on Hoth was amazing, and the quality of the audio and visuals is utterly amazing.

I felt very 'emotional' in parts of it.

Essential for any Star Wars fan.  I thought the DVD copies remasters were awesome, but this is a different leauge.

And Kevin Spacey doing Christopher Walken doing Han Solo was genius.

I read that this morning but the weirdest part I found was that after murdering someone the guy went round his Mum's.

He was upset and needed comforting in fairness. He had just gone through a very traumatic experience, something nobody should ever go through. Someone just smashed up his Star Wars toy collection.

My mum put mine and my brothers extensive collection of original star wars toys into a jumble sale one day without asking. Murder crossed my mind as well.

Whoever mentioned that SarcasticGamer Podcast, thanks - I'm enjoying it.  They've started on the prequels now.

So i was in London on Thurs evening at this charity dinner and it was a star wars event with quiz and auction.

As a little bit of a star wars geek I was in heaven. My favourite picture of the night was when I got Darth Vader to choke me.  (His powers are obviously waning as he had to physically do it but it was still cool)

I was running the quiz and the auction, so was a bit of a long night but I had a massive smile on my face all night seeing all the people dressed up.  There were about 50 storm troopers there in full get-up. Even better was the full size R2-D2's whizzing around the room. Ewan McGregor, Jeremy Bulloch and Warwick Davis were there with a bunch of other celebs, it was a fun night.

It has got me excited to see episode 1 in 3D at the cinema.  I know its episode 1 but I still enjoy going to the big screen to see any star wars.  It may look quite cool in 3d too.  Anyone else tempted to go and line George Lucas's pockets some more?

Saw Episode 1 in 3D last night.

The 3D adds nothing to the film, which I kinda expected.  I don't think 2D-3D conversions work too well, it was a subtle effect mostly, with one or two moments that looked quite good.

The film is still terrible haha!  But it was worth it for the opening text crawl, pod racing, the light saber battles and natalie portman on the big screen.

What did you expect?  I predict the 3D fad will be nearly dead by this time next year.
