Eavis on BBC Somerset...

didn't hear it myself but my wife heard ME on BBC Somerset yesterday and he apparently said there would be a lineup announcement on 1st Feb......he also said that he was very excited about the headline acts (no surprise there then), and that he had been listening to one headline artist over Christmas who was referred to as 'him'.....

he also said 2009 was going to be the 'best Glasto ever'....

I know the headlinrers have already been nailed for sure on here but oh how id love it if it was announced that the rumours were complete red herrings to keep folks guessing and the Three headline acts for the Pryamid stage were a completely different set of acts from those rumoured.

I'm well happy if Neil Young & Blur play! I can take or leave The Boss, but I'd watch him if it clashed with somebody else I wasn't too bothered about. 2009 is gonna be great, just hope the weather's ok!

I think most people listened to bruce springsteen over christmas. Seeing as he has one of the more popular christmas songs.

Concise OED defines imminent as 'about to happen'. The announcement being well over a month away, clearly isn't about to happen.

I thought Oasis would have been on board this year (new album 'tour etc).
