Three Irish dates announced in the 2nd week of June. Surely a Jazz World spot is an option for the man?

Tickets are between 115 and 130 euro for his gig in Dublin, so he can f**k right off for that. But a Jazz World gig would be sweet.

Recent Acoustic Tent alumnus Nick Lowe is playing in his band I hear.

This would be a complete winner on the Jazz World - agreed.

Well found!! See you decided to resurrect this massively popular thread?!

No tour dates at the moment from Ry unfortunately.  :(

Although I never made it to that Dublin gig, tickets were 125 quid!!  <_<

Would be great though, been listening to the album he did with Ali Farka Touré again recently.

Nick Lowe's 'Party for One' album is one of my all time favourites. Most of it was Little Village (Ry, Nick, Jim Keltner & John Hiatt) before they were Little Village..... I'd love to see Nick & Ry together
as you say, at those prices I'll get by

all men, all men are liars, their words ain't worth no more than worn out tyres
hey girls, bring rusty pliars, to pull this tooth, all men are liars, and that's the truth

Well he's headlined Sunday night before, doing an acoustic set with David Lindley.

One of the greatest guitarists ever - the guitarist 'behind' the Stones!

Moola Banda Rhythm Aces would be perfect for Jazz World - but it may be a few years since Ryland last dusted them off!

Sod the Stones, bugger Bono and all the other rumours - this is the man to see!

Yep, separately or together, if they show, I want to be in that crowd.
