I had never heard of her. She is absolutely beautiful - and she has her norks out in the first 15 minutes!

apple tv is your friend, under £90, and will do exactly what you need, without the need for a laptop

homeland finale wasnt what I was hoping for, watched 5 full episodes on sunday, and the finale is a 90 minute job.
next up is "State Of Play" a BBC drama from 2003 I somehow missed. highly spoken of wherever I have read, and it was cheap as chips on play.com

The usual sources I tried were incomplete, by an infuriatingly small amount too!
At less than £4 I can hardly complain

I enjoyed Homeland finale. Can understand why some people felt a bit let down by it. The suspense was amazing.
I have had State of Play on dvd for ages but never got round to watching it. Might watch that next. Ordered Season 1 and 2 of The Killling.

Really enjoyed the return of The Walking Dead last night. After the bar scene I can see the tempo changing now. It would be nice to have some more zombie action. I did notice that Rick shot one guy in the head and shot the big guy a third time. Wonder if that was in the head as well?

Brits last night. A lot of people moaning about Blur sounding awful.
I'm not a Blur fan really but they don't sound any different here than they usually do.

thought Blur sounded like they usually do as well... musically - ok, vocally - just awful.... still, at least they didn't do Tender.
I liked Ed Sheeran was great... loved seeing him on his own, just his guitar (especially after the awful Olly Murs). Really impressive voice
Noel was very very average... quite liked Bruno Mars, although the song was a bit limp
Adele was great.... not mad about her, but it's hard to not enjoy that voice

I remember at the Grammys in 1994 when they cut Sinatra off
, he was 79 at the time, and Billy Joel later stopped during his song, looked at his watch and started saying "Valuable advertising time going by... dollars, dollars, dollars" and then sat silently at the piano.
Cutting off Frank Sinatra though. A real low point for the industry.
Great intro from Bono.

I don't understand why they can't let ceremonies over-run. It happens all the time with sporting events...
....mind you, I think ITV shouldn't get any live events ever, they are really hopeless at it
and Channel 4
