Beautiful Days 2009

Beautiful Days - member discount period will now run until 2nd February

Priority tickets for Beautiful Days 2009 will be available for On The Fiddle members to buy from 6th December. Tickets will go on general sale on 5th January but we have now decided to continue to offer discounted tickets to OTF members until 2nd February.

More ticket and festival details will be available soon on www.levellers.co.uk and the festival websites.

The dates for Beautiful Days 2009 are 21st –23rd August.

I guess either:

a. festivals are worried about selling out in a recession, or

b. the extra interest gained is the lure..or

c. both of the above!

Question is, will the prices be held again?

I am gonna think twice about this one.
Money and all that - £100 per ticket, with beer, food, travel, etc = £300 odd....

Think we will be giving it a miss again in 09, too many smaller lovlier festies around. Still a great festival tho, just think their attitude to dance music needs abit of an overhaul!

Dance beneath the stars
We the sound system
We the collective
With an open heart
We the solution
Should be respected

well, here's a little rumour for you all.
I was speaking to Mark (singer) before the Artsfest gig in Sept in Brum (in the pub of course).
I asked about Hawkwind playing, and he said that there is a possible chance of them playing.
Wait and see!!!

In the absence (apparantly?) of a 'Have you got your BD tickets yet?' thread ...

We've just bought our tickets ;) :D ... after a bit of a delay for £££-worry/uncertainty reasons.
