For many, me included, this has to an amazing highlight of my Glasto years. I know that it was a while ago now but I've just been pottering around on Youtube and found one video and it just sent tingles all around my body. The sun came outand yes i know its a cliché but I did light up a spliff in 'Jamming'. It brings back brilliant memories.....

So its a long shot but does anyone have or know where I could get a video or even audio recording of this gig on the Pyramid stage?

Any help would be greatly appreciated........thanks in advance.

i also loved the marleys performance - one of the best ive seen ! and all ona chilled out sunday afternoon !

this prob doesnt help but i know the bbc had it all recorded as they played it on the tv the week of bobs birthday or something so have a look on the bbc site

Unfortunately i rang the BBC and they can't/won't be able to sell me a copy of it. However, they've put a request for it to be released. So if more people want it you could ring them up and request it to be released don't think theres a great likelyhood of it happening though.

Anyone got any more suggestions ?

I have a copy of the entire Marley Brothers set from a BBC4 program that was on for Bobs Birthday. If you'd like a copy I can put it on a DVD disc for you. PM me and we can arrange something.

I would also love a copy of this! I had it but it was recorded halfway through a tape because the preset timer on the video was broken so i had to leave it running when I went to bed. Still - got it and found that I am in the footage about 4-5 times!

Anyway - got back this year and decided to fill the first half of the tape by videoing Glasto 2008 off catch up TV - and accidentally taped over it!

I was soooo gutted, because what I taped over it is nowhere near as good. What a set! When I was there I cried nearly all the way through it, just got really emotional, and at the end a young couple came up and hugged me and told me I was beautiful! It was a top Glastonbury moment!

Brings back so many good memories, can see 'welcome to jamrock' or 'pimpa's paradise' in there but have been after the vid since the clouds parted that sunday afternoon, top stuff!

yes for me too it was one of my highlights of 2007. I wasn't having the best of glasto's and the rain was also a downer but the boys came on and the sun came out for their performance and it was like Bob himself was there, shining away at his boys. they were awesome and made you feel very happy to be standing in the mud!

Unfortunately you'll have to use 'free user' unless you want to pay (they also don't allow simultaneous downloads as a free user and restrict you to a certain amount of downloads an hour - its really annoying but its worth it) - and yes its also slower but it does mean you have more money to spend on alcohol lol

Has anyone been succesful with downloading and watching the Marley Brothers gig? If they haven't i can offer my limited knowledge in this area.

We were in the middle of an all-day Pyramid session that day, and the Marley's were incredible. The rain had started to get everyone down, but they came on, the Sun came out, and life was good. Seems like a lot of parallels with Brian Wilson 2 years before.
