Indeed - but keep the IoW subtle references down, they're in vague geographical competition.....

One way of looking at it.

Another is that it is a lovely venue for beating the post-Glasto blues.

A third is that it is a fine little fest in its own right for which you don't have to have been to Glasto (or live in Hampshire) to enjoy it.

We’ve got the licence for Blissfields 2009!

We only received the news today and we are pleased to say there were no objections!

As a celebration, a very limited number of pre-release tickets will be on sale for Blissfields 2009 from 1st Dec 2008. Due to the incredible show we have planned for you next year this is the only chance you’ll get to buy tickets at this rate so do hurry. Due to a number of our costs rising we have had to slightly increase the general release price to £41.00 (+ booking fee) however to keep good faith we will be selling the pre-release at our original ticket estimate of £35.00 (+ £3.95 booking fee). On 1st Dec The ticket page on the Blissfields website will list all ticket tariffs for the 2009 festival

If you’ve enjoyed Blissfields before, you’ll be absolutely blown away by our plans for 2009 from the array of musical talent on show to what will be on site for you to enjoy for the whole weekend – you won’t want to miss a minute as it’s going to be a stunning intimate festival, improving on our Best Small Festival in the UK 2007 (UK Festival Awards)!

In the coming months, we’ll be letting you know more about 2009 and other fun stuff we’ve got planned to help you find a wonderful state of bliss. Meanwhile you can check out the updated website for 2009 with some exciting new additions already: News on a competition to be "Head of State" of Blissfields for the weekend of the festival! Desktop wallpaper, and even a live webcam! http://www.blissfields.co.uk

We can’t tell you how excited we are about next year and seeing you all back at Bradley,

love

All at Blissfields

Sunday.......a couple of hours of tunes from DJ at tractor stage by the bar which will be open for people to recover from hangovers: tentatively called "The Sunday Roast", food stalls will be open for lunch too. Then it's up to you, you won't be chased off site until 6pm and we hope that a number of people will hang around to play a game of footie or whatever. Anyone willing to help tidy up on the Monday for a bit iswelcome to camp over the Sunday (if previously arranged) and join in the inevitable bbq/chill on Sunday evening.

Grand - means the boys can come, & we can scarper on the Sunday morning with the eldest going off on his school trip to Deutschland on the Monday, lucky fellow.

Oh, & he can write a quick review before he goes.
