I thought Tropic Thunder was Hillarious, not so effective on the second watch though. Plus I only watched it on Download.

Really not a fan of Ben Stiller, but gave Tropic Thunder a go after reviews from places I normally trust adn it is very very good. Maybe not as clever as some reviewers were making out (it is Ben Stiller after all) and yeah Stiller and Black are annoying but they're meant to be. Worth seeing for Robert Downey Jr's perfomance and Tom Cruise willingly and seemingly happily making an absolute tit of himself. It makes you cringe like you've never cringed before, but again its supposed to and, as over used as this phrase is, fair play to him.

Steve Coogan, also excellent.

As in, I'll nick an idea off Gervais..

I watched The Strangers last night. I f**kin loved it. Dunno if its been discussed already, but the tension was awesome. It was creepy as hell for a good hour. The ending was a little bit of an anticlimax IMHO, but I can forgive it that for the fact that the good hour was so good.

major spoiler here.

I really, really, hate films where the killer gets knocked down and out, and the "hero" just runs away. Happens too much.

Pineapple Express starts slow...but the last 40 odd minutes i was in stitches. Came home and watched There Will Be Blood. Really, really, really liked it. Daniel Day Lewis was fantastic in it.

I would have walked out if it wasn't for the fact that cinema ticket prices are damn expencive these days I wanted to the my money's worth. If not from the film I was watching than at least from the use of the comfy chairs and the air conditioning.

Last night I bought The Crow for £2 from Tesco!!!! AND American Psycho for £3! Sometimes I do love Tesco

I have seen The Crow but it was many many moons ago when I was a child. I've been trying to find a cheap copy for ages and then last night there it was, beaming at me with it's £2 price tag. I can't wait to watch it, I've waited years. I even bought the soundtrack to the film ages ago  :)
