Just watched Contagion and it was amazingly good.

I thought it was ok. It was nicely shot and had some really good performances in it, but it kind of just drifted along without much happening, and then it got to the end and I was like "meh".

Agent Hill? She's great!

I dunno, there was just something about her delivery of lines that grated with me. In saying that, I don't think any of the SHIELD folk (Sam Jackson included) particularly covered themselves in glory.

Didnt stop me loving the film tho!

I thought it was great too. More terrifying than any horror movie I've seen in the last few years

EDIT: Oh, and GREEEEEEEEEAT news that Prometheus will be rated R, so will be 15/18 over here :D :D :D

Also, saw The Dictator on Thursday (for free - Woop!)

Thought it was great, more conventional scripted comedy than his previous efforts, but still pants-shittingly funny! Obviously avoid if you are easily offended!

I just got back from seeing The Raid. Relentless is the only word for it, a must see in my opinion.

I saw the trailer for that and wondered if they could keep that level of action up for the whole film.  I'm guessing the answer is yes?

I watched The Game on ITV4 on Saturday night.  I saw it once years ago but couldn't remember much about it, but it had me on the edge of my seat once again.  A cracking (if slightly unbelievable) thriller.

That was then followed by Eden Lake which was not what I was expecting at all.  I thought it was going to be some crappy Wolf Creek style American slasher movie... instead I got a bunch of British scally teenagers committing some pretty horrific crimes.  I actually found the whole premise to be quite believable as well, which made the whole thing even more disturbing.

I thought Eden Lake was quite good, very troubling - and as you say, not a million miles away from reality.
