My overall preparation for my first festival ( including camping, was pretty spot on...so I'm chuffed about that.
My overall experiences I take away from V is also overall pretty good, as you can see below even the little things count to me, yes some are random :P

  • Now have an appetite to find out which artists are playing the songs I like.. so I can keep an eye for them on festival line ups.
  • cooking on a portable gas stove
  • camping with a group of strangers who are now feel like friends
  • I can enjoy going to a festival by myself
  • My little tent can survive the rain
  • I can survive the cold nights
  • I can persevere with the rain, cold, mud and also with my feet being in pain
  • It only took me ten minutes to get out of the car park - so it pays to listen to people with the most experience.
  • If you want you can get real close to a stage, you might just have to sacrifice a few things like space etc
  • arrive early to pitch your tent.
  • I could find the tent at night
  • can survive the toilets
The whole experiences , has encouraged me to do more camping in the UK, travel a bit more, go to more festival type things and with regards to any out door adventure things.....  I will just do it!!!
