BETA BAND BLOKE BRINGS BLACK AFFAIR TO BELLA

-----------------------------------------------------------------

One of Scotland's great music pioneers Steve Mason, the man

behind The Beta Band and King Biscuit Time is making his way to

Belladrum with his hotly tipped new solo project Black Affair.

Joining them are Hertfordshire 5 piece Look See Proof hot off the

release of their debut album.

Also confirmed and soon to feature on Later with Jools Holland

are The Mercury Men, featuring three of the UK's most talented

and admired musicians Jinder, Gavin Wyatt and Simon Johnson.

FLASHY PLASTIC

-----------------------------------------------------------------

This year you should be able to use your credit and debit cards

at Bella. You can flash the plastic in the HSPC Brigadoon

Champagne Bar and the Official Merchandise stall; and you can use

it to buy tokens for drinks. There will be a cash-back facility

at all of these on debit cards. But you are still advised to

bring cash to the event as there may be queues. Take care of your

cash at all times.

HEAP MORE TIPIS NOW AVAILABLE

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Having sold out his 90 available luxury tipis and 'love shack'

bell tents, Groovy Greg, a.k.a. 'king conical', has just taken

delivery of a consignment of 18 new tipis. If you missed out in

the first round of bookings, you've got a chance to book one now.

Each tipi sleeps six on futon bed bases with a stove etc. at a

cost of £499 for the weekend. Call Greg on 07818 420041.

SUITS YOU!

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Remember to come as outrageously clad as possible. Bella is in

full weekend fancy dress mode. Only those wearing masks will get

access to the Invernetian Masked Ball on the Saturday night. And

our undercover team will be out selecting the best-dressed

winners for a prize of tickets to next year's Bella. The search

for the 2007 fancy dress prize winners – the Hells' Grannies - is

over. We found 'em and we've sent their two free tickets. Unfazed

by their stunning victory last year, Ann Clark (Dundee) and Joan

Humphrey's (Arbroath) have vowed to have another tilt at the

prize. This year they're coming as Grannies Of The Caribbean. You

have been warned!

ARE THINGS UN-BEAR-ABLE?

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Is life grizzly? Come and share your concerns with the Care Bear

– a unique festival service at Bella. In the privacy of a

confessional booth, you can pour all your worries into a

sympathetic furry ear. Complete discretion guaranteed. Bears are

simple creatures of few words which makes them perfect for baring

your soul to. Just one caveat – if you're blonde and you've eaten

some porridge that wasn't yours – stay away!
