Chou chou nuts, stale beer, erb smoke, campfires, smoke on your clothes from the night before, that sweaty tent smell, toilet stench as you walk past/catch a breeze, insence, shampoo as you go for your morning ablutions, noodle stands, prawnies (smell better than they taste), nylon, sweat, dub reggae, laughter, cheers, bollocks, talking, fairground noise, crowds, bands, people.

And it's all beautiful.

The different music when walking through the markets, as you walk you pass from one genre/beat/era to the next.

You like one, linger for a while, then walk on listening for the next one to fade in as the old one fades out.

I remember stopping to listen to the theme from James Bond once next to that stall with the Big Green bottle, quite strange... :P

The sound of some Random strangers waking you up and the sensation of being gently pushed and nudged towards the exit of a tent as you hear the words... "excuse me mate, I think that's your tent over there, look, over where all your mates are"

oops, sorry mate

It's not a particularly pleasant smell but the scent of a couple of million gallon of cider infused piss fermenting in various toilets is pure Glastonbury. In late August once memories of the festival have started to fade it's always nice to crack open some scrumpy get a bit tipsy then go for a slash and remember.
