  1. Also, are Big Thief getting fined?
  2. Seems to be following the usual pattern: acts which have played EOTR over the past couple of years, made a splash or maybe a ripple, then pop up at GM. Some lower down on the GM roster (hopefully Royel Otis, though probably not) will cross over. But yes, I think overall EOTR more interesting and comfortably ahead.
  3. Click on day splits and up they come.
  4. They sort of can: I refer you to the Black Deer line-up announcement, and rest my case.
  5. It's what happens when you have ice cream made from sheep's milk.
  6. I do recollect a reply from EOTR to a comment from someone on one of their instagram or Facebook posts that it would be in January. It may of course be contingent upon Simon's bike getting a puncture. And of course we still await the 2023 Highlights/Exciting News Coming Soon! vid, which comes first.
  7. If we're looking to fill the ever-popular artists-who-have-pulled-out-multiple-times slot, surely we must be looking at the long-overdue return of Damien Jurado.
  8. Ugh. Much rather have RBCF. Much better letters too.
  9. Don't actually recall one any year! I remember there was a physical poll more than a decade ago canvassing how people might feel if the budget was largely blown on getting Tom Waits to headline at the expense of the the rest of the line-up, but that's it.
  10. And long may that continue. It's EOTR. It's not Creamfields, Yoghurtfields or even Keffirfields.
  11. Noting that this thread is already on its sixth page 3 weeks after EOTR ended, if the first bands announcement takes place at pretty much the same time as last time around, I calculate that if headliner speculation continues at the same rate it should have stretched to some 45 pages by the end of January.
  12. Right, it's the Boat Stage for her then.
  13. Compostable toilets immediately entered my mind for some reason.
  14. I like to think people have been following my lead since 2009. Also wore them out of principle in 2020 whilst watching the stream.
  15. Thursday very unpleasant, trolley wheels kept snagging on wet grass and locking, so rather than do the usual multiple treks from car park to quiet camping I went immediately right from wristband exchange to far end of family camping. Grass hadn’t been cut and obviously very wet. Miserable, lots of mud along tracks and bottlenecks. Rain stopped pm and hasn’t returned. Site has dried out nicely and all good so far.
  16. When I spoke with them yesterday, ??? told me they had their own charter organised to Shaftesbury Airport and were able to bypass any ongoing air traffic issues.
  17. If it's the Walkmen, in a way it'll be slightly disappointing since everyone expects it to be the Walkmen and it won't feel like a rabbit's been pulled out of a hat, whereas if EOTR come up with something monumentally left-wing and unexpected then we can all go Whooooh, didn't see that one coming!
  18. ...and they always soundcheck at 8:00 am. We're of course OK in Quiet Camping.
  19. That would have been the Felice Brothers/Low Anthem/Deer Tick supermash. Possibly Phosphorescent too.
  20. Yes, main ticket has arrived, but not the car parking ticket which I did book later.
  21. 3, if you count the second hand vinyl place attached to the vintage clothes place. Even if she seems to bring unchanged stock each year.
  22. Yes, and there are already 17 unread copies in the Woodland Library.
